Welcome to another upcoming reads post. I haven’t done a list for the last two months because I have been busy getting through all the books I already have sat on my shelf, staring at me… Anyway I’m back with another cracking list of reads for the month of September 2019. I don’t know if it’s because my birthday is in September or if its because I feel less guilty about reading inside as the weather turns cooler but I love this month for books. 2019, as I keep blathering on about it, has been a wonderful year for books thus far and September is no less exciting. I hope you enjoy the list and of course please inform me if you are also excited to read these books or if you already have!

My Thoughts: There Will Come A Darkness sounds like a really cool amalgamation of all the fantasy novels I have been reading recently which have really revitalised my passion for reviews. Hopefully it is as awesome as it seems.

My Thoughts: I keep going on about how I love to read books that are out of the ordinary for me and This Is Happiness fits that bill in every which way. A thousand year old community inviting electricity into their lives. The sheer amount of stories that could be told within this novel is the perfect reason to pick it up this month.

My Thoughts: Strangers are the epitome of fear and potential. It is a spectacular subject and Malcolm Gladwell exploring the history and psychology of strangers is too good of an opportunity to miss.

My Thoughts: Our War sounds like a powerful and daunting read. The subject matter alone makes this sound like a difficult book to approach but I am interested to see what Craig DiLouie is going to do with this narrative.

My Thoughts: It has been ages since I spent time with a good old spy story. I read a really interesting interview with Andrew Williams and his take on the spy-catchers looks to be a fascinating read.
