Welcome! I don’t know if I am way behind the times or if everyone already knows about this app but I recently discovered Libby and it is awesome. This is not a sponsored post or anything like that, I just wanted to acknowledge an incredibly awesome app that allows people to reserve, read and listen to e-books and audiobooks for free and on demand.
I was recommended Libby by a colleague and as I already had a library membership I thought I would jump on. I was able to immediately stream audio-books within 5 mins of opening the app and I also grabbed myself a copy of Clash Of Kings by George R. R. Martin on e-book there and then as well. It is super easy to use and there is a decent and growing variety of books available. Here is a breakdown of using Libby
Download And Login
Pick up the app from Microsoft, Google Play or the Apple Store. All you need to login in is a valid membership to your local library. Login using your details and it will give you instant access to all of the features available on the Libby App.-*/
Find A Book Or Peruse
The home screen is broken down into e-book and audio-book sections that offer tabs such as new releases, most popular and available now. You can also search for a book if you are looking for something specific.
Borrow or Reserve
The app is quite popular and there are only a limited amount available at one time as per usual. If it is available then you can borrow it there and then for a 12 week slot. If it is currently taken then you can add it to your reserve list and when it is your turn the app will let you know its in your library.
Listen and Read On The Go
It’s a mobile app! You can listen or read a book on your phone whenever it suits you. You can borrow up to 6 titles at any one time (and reserve a further 6) so you will never have to stop enjoying great books.
Fees or Penalties
No charge for using the app and the books are automatically rescinded at the end of your allotted time so there is no late fees. Once you have finished a book you can return it early so the next in line can get it sooner.
Keep Coming Back For More
They are adding more and more titles everyday so there is plenty of books to keep an eye on. Hopefully the library grows to a point where there will be more for everyone but even at this moment in time there are so many great books available to keep us entertained.
Thank you for coming by to check out another bookish recommendation here at Always Trust In Books. There are a lot of people who already know about Libby but I was so pleased when I found out about it so I thought I would make a post in case you weren’t aware of such an app. Give it a go and recommend it to other people who you think might benefit from it as well. Enjoy reading and listening to all the great books on the Libby app.
I am using and loving this app as well. I just wish the library in our place has a lot of English books.

I love Libby, the only complaint I have is that because I’m in the UK I can’t send my books to my Kindle which would be absolutely perfect! Great post xo

I hadn’t heard of this either but shared the post on Facebook and someone commented that they also use it in the US so it’s over there as well 😀
