Music Monday
Music Monday is a meme that was created by Drew from The Tattooed Book Geek. You pick a song and/or video and share it on Monday. It is a great opportunity to offer up your favourite music for everyone to listen too and cheer them up on the worst day of the week. This week I am sharing the band Times Of Grace which saw the fantastic return of Killswitch Engage’s original vocalist Jesse Leech. Hymn Of Broken Man was a phenomenal album that led Jesse back onto the front-line with KSE themselves. The fact that he got back in touch with KSE is great but it does mean that we don’t get a follow up album which has left me a bit gutted. Enjoy The Forgotten One and let me know what you thought.
The Forgotten One by Times Of Grace
The Forgotten One Lyrics
Words only lead me to the cracks in my disguise.
My flesh a prison for the man behind these eyes.
I sing the epitaph for an unnamed king.
Carved in this tombstone all the lost pieces of me.
How far is the distance between you and I?
How long before this silence dies?Lost in a sea of sadness.
Blind in this place of darkness.
If I fall would you be there to raise me up?
Or will I be the forgotten one?Lead me to the crossroad I can find my way home.
Devils on my back and angels in between.
The scars and dreams that made me believe.
Wheres the crime scene in remembrance to me.
When our eyes meet do you know the man beneath.
Walk the line between desperate and redeemed.Lost in a sea of sadness
Blind in this place of darkness
If I fall would you be there to raise me up?
Or will I be the forgotten one?And my hands are songs for the broken
(through every word that was spoken)
(do I carry half the whole plate)Lost in a sea of sadness
Blind in this place of darkness
If I fall would you be there to raise me up?
Or will I be the forgotten one?Songwriters: Adam Dutkiewicz / Jesse D. Leach

Thank you as always for your support in all my blogging endeavours. Music Monday is a great way to stretch out and spend time appreciating another superb art form. I never knew I would love such a wide range of music but I consider myself lucky to enjoy many different artists. Times Of Grace was a triumphant return for Jesse Leech and I can only pray that he may consider returning to the project in the future. I hope you enjoyed the song and give the album, Hymn Of Broken Man, if you find the time!
Such a quality album.👍

What a beautiful song! I’ve never heard of this singer/band, but I’m going to check the album out now. Love your Monday music posts as often you introduce me to new songs/bands/singers, and like you, I have a very varied taste in music.
