Hello Everyone! Donna at Chocolate ‘N’ Waffles has kindly nominated me to take part in the Mystery Blogger Award. Thank you for thinking of me! I am loving these tags :D.
The Rules:
- Put the award logo/image in your post.
- List all the rules.
- Thank whoever nominated you and leave a link to their blog.
- Tell your readers 3 things about yourself.
- Nominate 10-20 people and notify them.
- Link back to the creator of the award.
- Ask nominees any 5 questions of your choice, with a weird or funny question.
- Share the link to your best/favourite post of yours.
Three Things About Myself…
#1. I love to sing using a Frank Sinatra style voice. Mostly it is nursery rhymes these days due to having to small people in the family.
#2. I work with helicopters and survival equipment in my day job.
#3. I have attempted to read both The Bible and the Oxford English Dictionary all the way through. I failed at both attempts.
The Questions!
#1 Which fingers of your right hand is your favourite?
It seems unfair to actually pick a favourite digit… but in the spirit of the question I would have to say probably the pinky as it doesn’t give me any grief what so ever.
#2 You have 5% of battery left on your phone and on your Kindle, only one electric plug and 30 minutes to use it before you are stuck for hours with no electricity. Which device do you charge?
Now I could say I would charge my phone and ask my wife to bring me a fully charged kindle to wherever I might have ended up… Plus I always have a book on me just in case I find myself free for a moments reading… If these aren’t available then it has to be the kindle 😀
#3 Have you congratulated yourself this week for anything at all? If the answer is no, find something, anything you did, and congratulate yourself, you deserve it.
I got 1000 likes on my new blog in 3 weeks :O happy with that! Did I deserve it? You tell me!
#4 Salty and sugary snacks?
My main source of salt seems to be Doritos (Chilli Heatwave). For sugar I usually head to the bakery for freshly made ring doughnuts. Yum!
#5 What’s your favorite tree?
The Bonsai Tree of course! Silly question…
Then again… Oaks are pretty cool and they live for so long! I may need to put more consideration into this question in the future.
My Questions
#1. Which book have you re-read the most?
#2. If you could own any library in the world, which one would you choose?
#3. If you could tame and bond with any animal as a pet, what animal would you choose? (I am going to say real or fictional too to make it more fun!)
#4. What would you call your fantasy themed heavy metal band?
#5. Favourite fictional mode of transport/teleportation?
My Favourite/Best Post
I have quite a few books that I loved reviewing. My favourite post would have to be All The Good Things, which I haven’t posted yet! I enjoyed the book, interactions with the author and I am taking part in the blog tour later this month with a Q&A. Self promotion..? Me…?
The Nominees
The lucky people I have chosen to tag in this award are as follows:
Thank you for stopping by and checking out my nomination post. I had quite a lot of fun putting it together. But now I must get back to my reading so I have plenty of reviews lined up to share with you all. Goodbye for now!
Helicopters and survival equipment? That sounds like a cool job ! It’s great to learn more about you and Donna asked some interesting questions too. I’m all for bonsai too.. I like anything that’s tiny really 🙂

Thanks for nominating me! And boy, I wouldn’t be able to get through the ENTIRE Bible either…I’ve tried and failed.

Ha, I tried to do that during church a few years ago (I had focus problems) and it failed miserably. If anyone ends up able to do that, I will applaud them and get them chocolate. 😂 And probably ice cream for the dictionary; that’d be even harder!

I could definitely do with some chocolate icecream right now! But the cost is too high 😅

(Cries) Same! Ice cream…and food in general, haha. I must content myself with emojis: 🍦🍦🍪

This is awesome! I loved the 3 facts about you.. it’s just soooo interesting to find out about bloggers because there’s so much that we don’t know and sometimes those things are so surprising! XD
But helicopters and survival equipment? That’s a proper important job you got there AND comes with a lot of responsibility! Go you!
Loved your answers too! I totally agree on the Chilli Heatwave Doritos and ring doughnuts… yum!!!

Thanks for your support. It was a great tag and I was so glad to be nominated. It is a great job and I am grateful to be doing it. Now I want doughnuts! I should have tagged more people in this as I am getting a great response from the post 😃

Thank you for the tag!! I have to say, I’m really impressed that you tried to read the entire Oxford English Dictionary. Even if you didn’t get through the whole thing just attempting it is a feat! The Bible at least has stories- but like you said it’s even hard to succeed reading that through.

I have always loved words and their connections. There is a great author called Mark Forsyth who does brilliant books on etymology. Very amusing and interesting.
