Synopsis: Oliver Marks has just served ten years for the murder of one of his closest friends – a murder he may or may not have committed. On the day he’s released, he’s greeted by the detective who put him in prison. Detective Colborne is retiring, but before he does, he wants to know what really happened ten years ago.
As a young actor studying Shakespeare at an elite arts conservatory, Oliver noticed that his talented classmates seem to play the same roles onstage and off – villain, hero, tyrant, temptress – though Oliver felt doomed to always be a secondary character in someone else’s story. But when the teachers change up the casting, a good-natured rivalry turns ugly, and the plays spill dangerously over into life.
When tragedy strikes, one of the seven friends is found dead. The rest face their greatest acting challenge yet: convincing the police, and themselves, that they are blameless.

Hi. Fun post. I like some of these books and will add to the TBR. I also need to figure out what a book blog tour is exactly… seems obvious, but then so many questions…

It is basically a set of blog posts to do with a book set across a week or more. One a day. Reviews, interviews, giveaways etc

Cool, thanks. Does the author or publisher organize it? Or readers and reviewers just start it?
LikeLiked by 1 person
The publisher usually arranges it. Are you on NetGalley or Bookbridgr? They usually send out review copies and arrange blog tours you can get in on.

Yes, NetGalley. Very cool, thanks for sharing!

They all look great but I most look forward to the review of Want You Gone because he’s the only author out of the list that I read a book from and I really loved that on!

I am a Christopher Brookmyre addict so I probably not the best sauce for a unbiased review 😅

I’m also in for Two Lost Boys. I loved Brookmyre’s Black Widow but have decided to start the series from the start 🙂

Ah cool 😀 I look forward to reading your post. I am addicted to Brookmyre! His Jasmine Fisher series was really good. I have read Quite Ugly One Morning and Country of the Blind and really enjoyed them but have skipped all the way to Want You Gone which was quite weird. If you enjoy the Parlabane series then you have to check out Not The End Of The World by CB as it ties in with that series.
